The founding partners of KNT bring together decades of legal experience across India, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and Canada. They met at Osgoode Hall Law School, and decided the best thing they could build together was a firm that actually serves the people who need it most.
K K Kishore Varadarajan
FOUNDING PARTNER- BARRISTER & SOLICITOR
Kishore brings a rare combination to the table: corporate legal experience at the highest level in India, a master’s degree from Osgoode Hall, and hands-on immigration law practice in Ontario. He began his career as a licensed Advocate in India in 2019, practiced at a law firm in Chennai, and went on to serve as Senior Executive, Legal Counsel at Refex Industries Ltd., a listed company where he handled complex in-house legal work at scale.
He then pursued his LLM at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, graduating in 2023. Before founding KNT, he honed his Canadian immigration practice at multiple Ontario firms. He doesn’t just know the law, he knows what it’s like to navigate a new country and a new legal system. That shapes everything about how he practices.

Nithin Chandran
FOUNDING PARTNER- BARRISTER & SOLICITOR
Nithin walked the corridors of the Supreme Court of India for nearly a decade. A law graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, he argued property disputes, civil matters, IT law, corporate cases, and writ matters before some of the highest benches in the country. That level of courtroom experience doesn’t come from textbooks.
As a junior partner at a leading Indian law firm, he developed deep expertise in real estate law, agreement drafting and vetting, service matters, and appellate practice. He then came to Osgoode Hall Law School at York University to add Canadian legal expertise to his arsenal. When Nithin walks into an Ontario courtroom, he brings nearly ten years of high-stakes litigation with him.

Tariq Ali
FOUNDING PARTNER — BARRISTER & SOLICITOR
Tariq’s legal career spans three countries across two continents. Licensed as an Advocate in Pakistan, he furthered his legal training in London before pursuing his LLM at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University where he met his future founding partners. He brings an international perspective that very few Canadian lawyers can match. After being called to the bar in Manitoba, Tariq transferred his practice to Ontario in 2026, joining Kishore and Nithin at KNT. His experience navigating different legal systems makes him exceptionally effective for clients caught between jurisdictions, criminal matters, cross-border situations, and complex cases that don’t fit a simple box.
